Supported project
The Divide
Seven true stories of compassion and connection
A journalistic project by Maurits Chabot built around seven true stories. Stichting Depolarisatie provides financial support for the international launch and for gathering new stories in the United States.
What the foundation supports
The foundation supports this project by Maurits Chabot financially; he carries it out himself. The aim is to share the stories and gather new experiences of bridging divides, not simply to promote the book.
International launch
We help make the international launch of Over de Kloof, published in English as The Divide, possible through financial support in the United Kingdom and United States.
Three months in the United States
We contribute financially to Maurits Chabot’s stay of around three months in the US for the book launch, talks, meetings with bridge-builders and gathering new journalistic stories about connection.
This describes the support and planned activities. Not all talks, encounters, dates and venues have been confirmed or booked.
